Installation Overview

Installation requires moderate soldering experience. The process includes testing the console to verify proper operation, discharging the capacitors, disassembling the power brick, desoldering the original power connector from the PCB, soldering the original console connector to the N64PWR-E board, installing the included USB-C faceplate, and reassembling the power brick. The result is a clean, factory-style installation utilizing the original power brick housing.

Power Adapter Requirements

Requires a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power adapter capable of supplying a minimum of 15V@2A. A quality USB-C PD adapter is recommended for reliable operation.
