The CubePWR replaces the original power input board with an internal USB-C Power Delivery solution. Connect a compatible USB-C PD power adapter and power your GameCube without relying on the original proprietary power supply.

Designed specifically for the GameCube, CubePWR negotiates USB-C Power Delivery and converts it to a stable, clean 12V supply for the console’s original internal power circuitry. Installation Overview

CubePWR is designed to replace the original GameCube power input and switch assembly while retaining the console’s original internal power circuitry.

Installation requires disassembling the console, removing the original power input/switch board, installing CubePWR in its place, connecting the original console power and fan connections, and installing the USB-C faceplate.

No modification to the GameCube motherboard is required for normal installation.

Power Adapter Requirements

CubePWR requires a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) adapter capable of providing a 15V PD profile.

A quality 45W or higher USB-C PD power supply is recommended. The adapter must specifically support a 15V at 3A, providing ample operating margin for the console and connected accessories.

Standard 5V USB chargers that do not support USB-C Power Delivery are not compatible.
