Every cartridge is handled with professional soldering equipment and thoroughly tested before being returned.

Save Preservation

Whenever possible, every effort will be made to preserve your existing save data during the battery replacement process.

For cartridges that support safe battery replacement techniques, specialized equipment and procedures may be used to maintain power to the save memory while the original battery is replaced.

Please note that save preservation cannot be guaranteed. Existing batteries may already be depleted, save data may already be corrupted, or certain cartridge revisions may not support preservation methods.

If we determine that preserving your save data is not possible, you will be contacted before work proceeds whenever practical.

After placing your order, you will receive shipping instructions.

Customers are responsible for shipping their cartridges to Fairy Bottle Productions. Please package cartridges securely to prevent damage during transit.

Vintage Cartridge Disclaimer

These cartridges are often over 20–35 years old. While every cartridge is handled with extreme care using professional tools and techniques, age-related wear, previous repairs, corrosion, leaking batteries, damaged pads, or degraded circuit boards may affect serviceability.

If any unexpected issues are discovered before or during the repair, you will be notified promptly with photos (when appropriate) and a recommended course of action before additional work is performed.
